Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing, underwriting, and closing unsecured loans and vehicle loans . This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage loan documentation and financial assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist members with the loan application process, ensuring all required information is collected and completed. Order and review necessary supporting documentation, including credit reports . Analyze and calculate debt-to-income (DTI) ratios to evaluate borrower eligibility. Assess the financial strength of borrowers to determine risk and repayment capacity . Communicate with internal team members to obtain all necessary items from borrowers for each phase of the loan process. Perform various support duties related to lending and customer service functions within the Credit Union. Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) to maintain and process loan information efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in loan processing, underwriting, and closing (unsecured and vehicle loans preferred). Strong knowledge of financial analysis and risk assessment . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word). Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Prior Credit Union experience is a plus .
