DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:

Incumbent will be responsible for servicing aspects of the mortgage and consumer loan function including but not limited to processing new loans, collecting conditions, corresponding with loan officers, settlement agents and clients. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Add loans to shared mortgage or consumer pipeline upon receiving Process loan applications in loan operating system Order and review appraisals, AVM’s, flood certifications, UDM, IRS Transcripts, property reports, domestic relations checks, and title work Obtain E-sign authorizations Collect outstanding loan commitment conditions and necessary insurance in a timely and efficient manner to ensure a quality client experience Prepare addendums and any re-disclosures in the required time period Review appraisals to ensure compliance with regulations and deliver to clients Move and review loan files to Accusystems Correspondence by phone and email with clients, loan officers, settlement agents, appraisers, and insurance agents Process and service all loans according to secondary market standards

Other Duties:

Review and process closing packages from settlement agents to verify accuracy and compliance Final review of loan files for completion and policy exceptions Follow up on outstanding exceptions on closed loans Review booked loans from Premier Verification of various department balancing as well as verifying accuracy of monthly bills from vendors Second review of Adverse Actions Other duties as assigned by management to assist in the efficient functioning of the loan operations department

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Community Bank has adopted a 40-hour work week. Some flexibility in hours is necessary based on the location assignments, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and must work at least 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.

Travel:

Travel for this position is limited to travel for meetings/training or helping other locations with staffing needs.

Required Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Generally, less than two years of banking or related experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Strong clerical skills, excellent communication skills and professional appearance are necessary for this position. Proficiency with a computer, adding machine, copier, fax machine, and other office equipment are required. The ability to learn Premier and sales tracking systems.
