In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loan processing workflow, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and verified in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage underwriting and loan processing, along with excellent analytical skills to assess creditworthiness. Duties Review and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy. Gather necessary documentation from applicants, including income verification and credit reports. Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility. Ensure compliance with FNMA, TILA, and other regulatory requirements throughout the loan process. Collaborate with loan officers to facilitate smooth communication between all parties involved. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications related to loan processing. Assist in underwriting processes by providing necessary documentation and insights. Address any discrepancies or issues that arise during the processing phase promptly. Skills Proficient in credit analysis and mortgage servicing practices. Strong knowledge of financial services and loan processing methodologies. Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations. Excellent basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans. Ability to work collaboratively with loan officers and other team members. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple files simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and stakeholders.
