Posted Monday, June 16, 2025 at 10:00 PM The Loss Mitigation Processor is responsible for monitoring the servicing of loan modifications from trial plan initiation through final modification conversion. This includes tracking trial plan payments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to investors and agencies, and calculating final modification terms. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, as accuracy is critical when finalizing loan modification terms and preparing accounts for quality assurance review. This position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong communication and collaboration skills to build effective working relationships within the loss mitigation team and across departments. Responsibilities Monitor trial plan performance and ensure timely and accurate reporting of payments to investors and agencies. Track the progress of trial plans and ensure borrowers are meeting plan requirements. Work closely with the Escrow department to ensure escrow analyses accuracy of final modification terms. Calculate final loan modification terms in accordance with investor, agency, and regulatory guidelines. Validate accuracy of data prior to submission to the quality assurance team. Monitor title reports and ensure resolution of title issues related to the finalization of loan modifications. Collaborate with internal departments including underwriting, quality assurance, and servicing to ensure smooth processing. Maintain documentation and system updates in accordance with internal policies and investor/agency requirements. Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues that may delay the finalization of a loan modification. Qualifications Required
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a high-volume environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and drive resolutions independently.
Preferred
1-2 years of loss mitigation experience
