Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Prepares and processes loan documents for lending personnel with attention to detail always checking for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Inputs and updates loan data into the financial institution’s computer system; assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy. Develops and maintains a working knowledge of banking laws and regulations through continuing education practices including attendance at seminars and meetings with peers. Prepares legal documents for recording at the county and state level. Confers with attorneys, title companies, insurance companies, credit department, and loan operations to provide or receive information pertinent to the loan documentation process. Provides administrative support for the Centralized Loan department and various lenders as directed. Cross-markets financial institution products and services as appropriate. Collects HMOA data for reporting purposes. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Experience in banking or loan processing. Ability to obtain a Notary Public designation is required. General hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; long hours, weekend work, and travel expected on occasion.
