The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest services while performing essential accounting tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting. Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, during the night shift. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly. Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with guests and staff. Prepare daily financial reports and ensure all transactions are balanced. Assist in maintaining the security of the hotel premises during overnight hours. Handle reservations and modifications as needed, ensuring guest satisfaction. Support other departments as necessary to maintain a seamless guest experience. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred. Familiarity with night audit processes and procedures is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance guest interactions. Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is beneficial. A background in hospitality or resort environments will be advantageous.
