The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, conducting nightly audits, and providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and be comfortable working independently during late hours. Responsibilities Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all reports. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent guest service. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift. Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel policies and procedures to assist guests effectively. Utilize phone systems to handle incoming calls and provide information to guests. Prepare daily reports for management, detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies. Ensure the security of the hotel premises by monitoring activities and responding to emergencies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality is required. Strong front desk experience with a focus on guest services. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Proficient in using phone systems and handling inquiries professionally. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for guests. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is an advantage.
