Maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and coworkers. Maintain presence at desk during all hours of operation and communicate effectively with individuals inside and outside the facility. Ensure that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner. Ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with company policies. Ensure front desk and office (including files) are maintained in clean and organized manner. Acquire and maintain knowledge of local attractions and amenities in order to provide service to guests needing such information. Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations. Maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property. Quote daily rates properly and issue credits in accordance with company philosophy, using good judgment. Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and must also be able to elaborate on expertise to perform these essential functions of the job: Be able to work overnight – 11pm to 7am (or longer as may be needed) Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations Experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards Experience in maintaining security of confidential information, including guest registration and credit card information Experience working with a computer, including data entry Ability to work well independently Listening skills to ensure accurate understanding of guest wishes Composure to work effectively under pressure Address and resolve guest problems or concerns professionally and effectively Approachable to encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English Must be able to pass a background check Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Noble House Hotels & Resorts are proud to encourage and support an environment where everyone can be a successful team member (come as they are) as their true authentic self.
