The Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, located at 1633 North BayshoreDrive, Miami, FL 33132 is currently hiring a Clerk-Front Desk.

Responsibilities include:

Process all guest check-ins by confirmingreservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.

Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks,debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving anylate and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guestcalls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate withHousekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Communicateparking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff orvalet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions andinformation regarding property and local areas of interest. Rundaily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify anyspecial requests, and check reports for accuracy. Completedesignated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cashguests’ personal checks and traveler’s checks. Count bank at thebeginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according toAccounting specifications. Follow all company safety and securitypolicies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafework conditions to manager. Follow all company policies andprocedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean andprofessional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information;protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guestsaccording to company standards; anticipate and address guests’service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guestswith genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear andprofessional language; answer telephones using appropriateetiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift,carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to10 pounds without assistance.
