The Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta, located at 5750 Windward Pkwy.,Alpharetta, GA 30005 is currently hiring a Guest ServiceRep-PM.
Responsibilities include:
Process all guest check-ins by confirmingreservations in computer system, verifying guest identity,requesting form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key inaccordance with property policies and procedures. Operate telephoneswitchboard station. Respond to and resolve guest requests,including wake-up call requests. Run daily reports (number ofarrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and checkreports for accuracy. Review shift logs/daily memo books anddocument pertinent information in logbooks. Process all paymenttypes such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Countand secure bank. Complete end-of-day activities including postingcharges to accounts, completing cashier and closing reports,running night audit backup, and roll the date. Print and foldfolios and ensure that they are placed under each guest room doorthe night before check-out. Follow all company safety and securitypolicies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafework conditions to manager. Follow all company policies andprocedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean andprofessional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according tocompany standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs,assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others,and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of otheremployees. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time orfor an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds withoutassistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.
