The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position involves managing front desk operations, performing night audits, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent guest relations skills. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and payments. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs of guests. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management. Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during overnight hours. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with their needs and requests. Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with guests and staff, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience in night audit procedures is preferred but not required. Background in hospitality management is an asset. Excellent guest relations abilities to foster positive interactions with guests. Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Proficient in using phone systems and demonstrating professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
