DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay. 2. Answer phones and place reservations. 3. Understand and become proficient with property management software system 4. Register and process guests in their assigned rooms. 5. Understands and adheres to proper credit, check and cash handling policies and procedures. 6. Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed. 7. Audit and balance reports from the day shifts. 8. Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day. 9. Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments. 10. Run EOD computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift. 11. Prepare guest bills for next-day checkouts and process reservation cards. 12. Balance cash drawers and record receipts. 13. Always maintain a clean, neat and organized front desk area. 14. Perform other duties as requested by management.
PREREQUISITES
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
Experience:
Minimum one year of hotel front desk experience preferred, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, general administrative tasks and demonstrate strong computer skills.

$16.00 – $18.00 per hour
