Job Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, including check ins and check outs during the night Run daily reports and nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy with hotel policies Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures and acts as Manager on Duty Handle cash; make changes and balance cash drawer using proper cash handling procedures Maintain key security following procedures for programming key cards for length of stay only and distributing additional keys only to guests with proper I.D. Report all incidents or occurrences of an unusual nature that could result in potential loss, damage, injury or other liability to individuals or company property Operate phone systems to handle incoming calls and assist in house guests with requests Maintain clean, neat and professional appearance of front desk and lobby area. Respond to guest concerns by assessing the situation and extending assistance to resolve the issue promptly Review Night Audit checklist and verify that all work has been completed Have fresh coffee out by 5am Ensure security of hotel premises during over night hours Perform any other duties as assigned •Skills, Educational background and experience: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 of hotel front desk experience, other hotel experience or experience in a customer service environment. Experience in PEP system preferred. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Works well independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to exceptional guest service. Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. Working knowledge of computer and math skills.
