Guest Service Agent/Night Auditor Residence Inn – a Chartwell hotel 500 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY 11747 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team at The Residence Inn – Melville. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Handle reservations and modifications through phone systems, ensuring accuracy in bookings. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures to assist guests effectively. Promote hotel services and upsell amenities to enhance the guest experience. Experience Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest relations. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. A background in hospitality or resort environments will be advantageous.
