The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest services while managing financial transactions and reporting. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in hospitality and customer service, who thrive in a dynamic environment. Duties Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing outstanding guest relations. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Prepare daily reports detailing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review. Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and room readiness. Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring surveillance systems and responding to emergencies as needed. Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience. Requirements Previous experience in hotel front desk position preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficient in front desk operations and familiar with hotel management software. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required by the hotel’s operational needs.
