The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to guest relations, and a background in hospitality. Duties Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting. Manage front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs during overnight shifts. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist with any administrative tasks as required, including data entry and report generation. Uphold hotel standards of cleanliness and professionalism at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hotel industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with hotel management software (Opera PMS) is beneficial but not required.
