The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately while providing exceptional guest services. Duties Perform front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift, providing top-notch customer service. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting discrepancies as needed. Maintain records of guest accounts, including payments, charges, and credits. Prepare daily financial reports for management review, summarizing revenue and occupancy statistics. Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring access points and responding to emergencies as necessary. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry to maintain organized records. Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision. Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous; paid training will be provided. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment.
