USD Hourly Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Professional who has extensive knowledge of the OSV Platform. As a Payroll Specialist, you will manage and execute payroll operations with precision and compliance. You’ll develop and implement payroll and timekeeping policies, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This includes labor distribution, vacation and sick leave accruals, overtime, and tax withholdings. You will also ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and timekeeping functions. Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls. Ensure accurate calculation and distribution of payroll, including benefits and deductions. Maintain compliance with all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes and employer contributions. Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues using sound judgment and creative problem-solving. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency. Provide guidance on payroll-related matters and support audits as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant payroll experience. Strong understanding of payroll systems, labor laws, and tax regulations. Proven ability to manage complex payroll scenarios and resolve issues independently. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and external vendors. Preferred Qualifications Experience with large-scale payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP). Familiarity with multi-state or international payroll operations. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
