Reporting directly to the Strategic Portfolio Leader this role is designed for a dynamic individual who can lead a group of Business Analysts, MDM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and HR / Payroll matter SMEs.
Key Responsibilities:
HR /
Payroll Process Transformation :
Evaluate and optimize the processes, system configuration, HRIS workflow, roles & hierarchies to align with ERP capabilities (e.g. Personal Information, Position Management, Time & Attendance, State & Local Regulations, Payroll (including Certified Payroll), Training Management, Vacation & Leave Administration, Benefits Administration & Management, Job Costing, Compensation Administration, HRIS reporting, and Employee Onboarding).
MDM Ownership :
Define and implement the MDM strategy, focusing on HR / Payroll -related master data (e.g., employee). Govern data ownership, stewardship, and data quality standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across business units. Lead the design and validation of MDM hierarchies and integration points with ERP and downstream systems.
Data Migration & Validation :
Oversee data cleansing, mapping, and migration activities related to HR / Payroll data and master data from legacy systems to the ERP. Coordinate with technical teams to validate migration scripts, reconcile migrated data, and ensure reporting integrity post-migration. Integrate the UAT Team to ensure the QA quality life cycle for data
Collaboration :
Act as the liaison between HR / Payroll and technical teams to translate business needs into system design and configuration. Collaborate with the HR / Payroll team to ensure all processes are aligned with corporate financial goals and compliance requirements.
Compliance :
Identify risks and establish controls in HR / Payroll reporting, compliance, and master data quality; implement mitigation strategies to ensure audit-readiness and SOX compliance.
UAT :
Ensuring core HR / Payroll process & activities success through the execution of HR / Payroll UAT activities
Deliverables:
Enterprise HR / Payroll process flows supporting all BU activities Enterprise HR / Payroll data standards Consolidated enterprise master data Documentation of Master Data Models & ETL Processes for legacy data
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. 7-10 years experience in Master Data Management and HR / Payroll data systems. 7-10 years experience in Key HR / Payroll Processes Strong understanding of master data management, governance and compliance standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders Construction industry experience, Netsuite or Microsoft Dynamics experience and relevant certifications are a plus
