Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations and ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual who can oversee processes, manage reporting, and work with internal systems to maintain seamless payroll functions. Join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including 401k and RRSP plans, while maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Utilize systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports to generate payroll data and reports.
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.
- Lead efforts to improve payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor payroll staff to ensure adherence to best practices and organizational standards.
- Address and resolve payroll-related issues, liaising with employees and management as needed.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all operations. Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports.
- Familiarity with accounting and auditing practices related to payroll.
- Experience administering employee benefits, including 401k and RRSP plans.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to manage a team and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
