In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while complying with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also manage payroll staff, implement payroll policies and procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function. Ideal candidate would have an accounting degree/background. Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll operations Manage and mentor payroll staff, providing training and guidance Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations Maintain and update payroll records and documentation Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and year-end documentation Analyze payroll data and provide insights to senior management Completion of headcount, turnover, overtime & retention analysis for HR department. Implement and improve payroll policies, procedures, and systems for efficiency Collaborate with HR and finance teams on compensation and benefits planning Address and resolve payroll inquiries from employees Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws Proficient in payroll software (e.g., Paycom, ADP) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus Benefits Competitive benefits & compensation package! 401k Medical, Dental, Vision Company paid short-term disability and Teladoc!
