HR MANAGER – PAYROLL

Pittsburgh, PA $100,000-$120,000 Bonus Areyou an HR professional with deep knowledge of certified payroll andprevailing wage compliance in the construction space? We’re workingwith a well-established and growing construction company inPittsburgh, PA seeking a hands-on HR Manager to lead all HRfunctions with a strong focus on payroll processing and prevailingwage reporting.

OVERVIEW OF THE HR MANAGER ROLE

Oversee and manageall HR functions including onboarding, employee relations,compliance, and performance management. Handle weekly certifiedpayroll processing, ensuring full compliance with prevailing wagelaws and union requirements. Serve as the primary liaison foraudits related to payroll and labor compliance. Maintain and updateHR policies in accordance with federal, state, and localregulations. Partner with operations to support workforce planningand jobsite HR support. Lead recruitment efforts for field andadministrative roles. Manage benefits administration and openenrollment processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HR MANAGER

5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Strong payroll background with direct experience handling certifiedpayroll and prevailing wage requirements. Knowledge of union laboragreements is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communicationskills. Ability to work onsite and collaborate with projectmanagers, field staff, and leadership.
