Job Description
Payroll Supervisor
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor in the wholesale distribution industry, based in Charleston, South Carolina. As part of our clients team, you will oversee payroll activities, ensure the accuracy of records, and manage employee inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll activities for a multi-state workforce of approximately 400 employees
- Utilize ADP – Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now systems for payroll operations
- Administer 401k – RRSP and other employee benefits
- Collaborate with the accounting department to align payroll with accounting functions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy
- Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Use About Time software for timekeeping and payroll processing
- Manage benefit functions in coordination with the HR department.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director
- Proficiency in using ADP – Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Expertise in 401k – RRSP Administration
- Knowledge and experience in using About Time software
- Strong understanding and experience in Accounting Functions
- Proven experience in Auditing procedures
- Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions
- Experience in the wholesale distribution industry is preferred
