Payroll Manager Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Our client is looking for direct hire, Payroll Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing healthcare organization and leverage your 5+ years of payroll experience within UKG supporting their multi-state employee population.

Duties:

Process biweekly payroll for a multi-state, multi company operation for all job classes (FT, PT, salaried, hourly, per diem, etc.) for 1100 employees Reconcile employee payroll discrepancies Review and verify payroll data calculations Validates biweekly hours pay, earnings, taxes and deductions, as well as quarterly and annual reporting related to tax filings and W-2 processing Support HR and management on payroll tax related matters Oversee the setup and audit of employee data; payroll maintenance; and monitoring of data interface with HRIS System Audit payroll change form data entered into HRIS system for accuracy and action items including retro pay, tax changes, terminations, etc. Assist with the development and implementation of payroll practices, policies, and procedures Recommend, update, and implement controls on payroll processes Monitor compliance with payroll tax regulations for domestic and local entities that ensures a timely filing for domestic and local entities, create new tax accounts when needed Maintain updated knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations (DOL & FSLA) governing payroll to ensure compliance Develop effective strategies and procedures to scale payroll to accommodate rapid growth Identify and implement payroll best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy Provide recommendations and plans to optimize use of HR/PR system Assist with setting up new payroll company and related processes in PR system including Payroll Journal Reports Review and approve benefit invoices Oversee reconciliations between benefit invoices and payroll deduction records

Requirements:

5+ years’ payroll experience CPP required Multi-state, multi-location payroll experience within the healthcare field Experience processing payroll for 1000+ employees UKG experience required; Experience with Paychex Flex preferred Experience managing full cycle payroll process Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet, etc. with an advanced understanding of
