They are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will manage payroll operations. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running while auditing and optimizing our client’s payroll processes. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT. Payroll Specialist’s Responsibilities and Duties Process bi-weekly payroll for 95 full-time employees (minimal hourly staff). Ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policies. Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting. Perform complex payroll calculations, including V-lookups, retros, and reconciliations. Manage tax filings, W-2s, and 401K processing. Payroll Specialist’s Qualifications and Skills Proven payroll experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized company. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now. Advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups. Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax filings, and reconciliations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
