Responsibilities:
The Payroll Tax Analyst position entails ensuring accurate and timely submission of federal and state taxes, reviewing payroll reports for accuracy, and resolving payroll issues independently. Responsibilities also include reconciling payroll liability accounts, staying updated on government regulations, overseeing payroll withholding tax functions, assisting with audits, managing foreign payroll compliance, and reconciling W-2 processes. Additionally, the role involves determining the proper handling of payments based on tax laws, developing payroll procedures, and supporting payroll staff and management. Other duties may include resolving payroll issues, handling non-resident alien taxes, and processing W-2s and 1042’s.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Experience:
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience working in payroll and Internet proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
