Payroll Analyst Job Description We are seeking a Payroll Analyst with recent experience in PeopleSoft. This role involves heavy data analysis and entry, requiring proficiency in Excel to extract and manipulate large data sets. The candidate will serve as the point of contact for employees with payroll questions and issues, so excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor are essential. Responsibilities Conduct data analysis and entry using PeopleSoft. Utilize Excel pivot tables and lookups to analyze large data sets. Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and issues. Provide empathetic customer service with a ‘warm and fuzzy’ attitude. Assist with garnishments and other payroll components. Support the team during the Workday implementation phase. Essential Skills Recent experience with PeopleSoft payroll components. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups. Strong customer service skills and ability to empathize with employees. Data entry and manipulation expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Workday is a plus.
