Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Manufacturing industry, located in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities related to payroll processing, general accounting duties, and customer service. Responsibilities
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll using Work Force
- Assist with financial tasks associated with the month-end close process
- Handle general accounting duties as required
- Utilize skills in account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain financial clarity
- Perform data entry tasks, including invoice processing
- Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
- Resolve any billing issues that arise, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll specialist role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
- Must have experience in Billing.
- Data Entry skills are required.
- Proficient in Invoice Processing.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Oracle is necessary.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Familiarity with SAP is essential.
