Payroll Clerk Position Available In DeKalb, Georgia

Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This Contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to payroll operations through accurate data entry and verification. The role requires a hybrid schedule, with 2-3 days in the office, ensuring flexibility and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and verify payroll data for both hourly and salaried employees to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with payroll analysts by providing verified data for processing biweekly payroll.
• Maintain detailed records and audit entries to identify discrepancies or errors.
• Utilize accounting and payroll software, such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce, for efficient data management.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Support benefit functions by ensuring accurate data entry related to employee benefits.
• Assist in accounts payable processes to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure payroll compliance and adherence to organizational policies. Requirements
• Proven experience in data entry or payroll functions, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and related software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and resolve payroll issues.
• Previous experience handling both hourly and salaried employee payroll is preferred.
• Proficiency in auditing and accounts payable processes is a plus.
