Full Job Description Position Title:

HR/Payroll Assistant Location:

Atlanta, GA (In-Office, Hybrid) Reports to: Director of HR About Us Legacy Franchise Concepts (LFC), backed by Prospect Hill Growth Partners, is an Atlanta-based operator and investor in high-growth health, wellness, and lifestyle franchise brands. Our current portfolio includes SweatHouz , the world’s fastest-growing recovery franchise, and Dogtopia , North America’s leading provider of dog daycare. As we grow, we are seeking a HR/Payroll Assistant that will play a pivotal role in processing bi-weekly payroll and supporting various HR functions. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Employee Records Management:

Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes.

Onboarding Support:

Assist with the onboarding process, including documentation, I9 completion, and compliance.

Administrative Tasks:

Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and report generation.

Recruiting Assistance:

Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and assist in preparing reports as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in HR or payroll functions, preferably within the retail industry.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Paylocity software is a plus.

Attributes:

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
