The Payroll Coordinator computes wages of hospital employees and posts wage data on payroll records. Prepares all end of year payroll data, W-2’s, etc. Maintains time and attendance system. Prepares and submits quarterly retirement and tax reports. Effectively interacts with directors, supervisors, co-workers and outside vendors. Serves as support to the Accounts Payable Coordinator and assists Controller. Performs other accounting functions as needed. All knowledge obtained by performing job duties will be kept at highest level of confidentiality.
WORK HOURS
8 hour work shift per day, 5 days a week
SUPERVISED BY
Controller, with no direct supervisions
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. 1 to 3 years payroll experience required. Microsoft EXCEL proficient. Understands principles and applications of payroll. Well informed on Payroll functions; seldom requires assistance.
PRINCIPLE TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares and submits quarterly retirement and tax reports. Effectively interacts with directors, supervisors, co-workers and outside vendors. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide financial information. Serves as support to the Accounts Payable Coordinator and assists Controller. Performs other accounting functions as needed. All knowledge obtained by performing job duties will be kept at highest level of confidentiality.
