Payroll Full Job Description Job Summary:

Immediate opening for experienced payroll specialist Denham Springs office. Must be highly organized, detail oriented , accurate , familiar with payroll calculations, pre-tax deductions, and computerized input. Must be experienced in filing Form 941, Form 940, Unemployment reports, and Louisiana State withholding reports. Job involves calculating payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis for muyltiple clients (both private and small governmental units) as well as paying client’s payoll taxes online. Able to communicate directly with clients by email, phone and in person. Compensation for position commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and timely using accounting software such as Thompson Reuters Accounting CS. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Conduct data entry and reconcile discrepancies in payroll and accounting records. Calculating payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis for muyltiple clients (both private and small governmental units) Paying Client Payroll Taxes online and preparing 940s, 941s,unemployment reports and Louisiana State withholding forms Qualifications Proficient in payroll processing and management Excellent data entry and analysis skills Must be experienced in filing Form 941, Form 940, Unemployment reports, and Louisiana State withholding reports Detail Oriented and accurate Ability to Multi-Task in a fast pace work environment Passion for customer service
