Payroll Clerk DHD Offshore Services, LLC Morgan City, LA 70380 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various financial software systems to manage payroll data effectively. Duties Process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions. Maintain and update employee records, including tax information, benefits administration, and journal entries. Utilize financial software such as ADP, Kronos, and QuickBooks to manage payroll functions. Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Prepare and submit tax filings related to payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations. Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs as needed. Support HRIS functions by maintaining accurate employee data within the system. Skills Proficient in financial software applications, including ADP, Kronos, QuickBooks, and HRIS systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Knowledge of tax regulations and benefits administration processes. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Accounts Payables is a plus.
