Payroll Clerk Position Available In Essex, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for a dedicated temp-to-hire Payroll Clerk in Lawrence, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to grow their administrative and payroll expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare payroll documentation, including timecards, bonuses, and expense reports.
• Accurately input and maintain employee data in payroll systems.
• Collaborate closely with the payroll manager to address payroll-related tasks and issues.
• Assist in handling administrative duties related to payroll operations.
• Support the team in maintaining compliance with payroll procedures and regulations.
• Utilize tools such as Excel and Outlook to manage payroll data and communication.
• Contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.
• Provide assistance with Paylocity software tasks, if applicable.
• Respond promptly to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Requirements
• Open to candidates with entry-level experience or those with some related work background.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Paylocity software is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with data entry and administrative tasks.
