To be clear, this is a temp-to-permanent position that reports 5 days a week to their office in Springfield, MA. In this role, you will process payroll for a large, multi-program human services agency, ensure timely tax filings, handle payroll-related payables, and assist with related administrative tasks. You will work closely with program directors, administrative staff, and Human Resources to address payroll inquiries and maintain accurate records.

Process payroll and related tax filings (
Federal & State:
MA & CT) Manage payroll deductions, direct deposits, and payroll-related payments Prepare W-2 forms and respond to wage verification requests Handle payroll-related journal entries and maintain records Collaborate with HR and program staff on payroll issues
Qualifications:
2-3 years payroll experience Associate’s Degree in Business or related field Strong data entry and organizational skills Proficient in payroll software, ideally UKG Pro and UKG Ready, and other office applications Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation for occasional business needs #IND123
