Perform data entry tasks related to payroll and human resources functions. Assist in the preparation of reports for management regarding payroll expenses. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Manage the general ledger accounting related to payroll transactions. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of payroll processes. Utilize financial software such as Paychex, Workday, or Ceridian for payroll processing. Collaborate with the human resources department on employee-related inquiries. Qualifications Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles and technical accounting practices. Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Experience with financial software applications; knowledge of Paychex, Workday, or Ceridian is a plus. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
