Job Description
- Benefits/Payroll Coordinator
- Coordinate employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, LTD, 401k) for ~1000 employees.
Manage enrollment/termination via payroll and benefits systems (Employee Navigator). Liaise with brokers for open enrollment. Handle monthly insurance billing, intercompany billing, audit/compliance (Form 5500, 1095c, EEO-1), and employee benefits education. Reports to the Controller, works with Payroll Manager, AP Clerk, and facility staff.

Responsibilities:
- Process enrollments/terminations in payroll (GP Dynamics) and benefits (Employee Navigator) systems
- Maintain enrollment paperwork
- Prepare 401k AP payments and intercompany insurance billing
- Manage/reconcile insurance billings
- Manage reinsurer claims
- Coordinate annual open enrollment
- Primary contact for Form 5500 audit
- Prepare 1095c and EEO-1 filings
- Maintain benefits information (rates, eligibility, COBRA)
- Coordinate COBRA enrollment
- Draft documents using Microsoft Office
- Maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1-3 years payroll/benefits experience required
- 1+ year experience with ERP/payroll software (e.g., Dynamics GP)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Basic Microsoft Office (Excel) and file management skills

Preferred:
- Benefits experience (500+ employees, multi-location), Dynamics GP/Employee Navigator experience, healthcare/long-term care experience.
