Accentuate Staffing is seeking a highly organized anddetail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processingacross multiple standalone locations for one of our clients. Thisrole requires comprehensive knowledge of payroll, includingtimekeeping, accrual management, garnishments, and tax compliance.

The Payroll Specialist will work closely with HR, employees, andexternal agencies to ensure accurate payroll processing and timelycompliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidatewill maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitivepayroll data. Responsibilities Process multi-state, multi-EIN payroll using ADP Workforce Now,ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws, policies, andprocedures. Collect and input timekeeping data from various sources into theADP time and attendance portal. Administer termination payouts, including compliance withstate-specific regulations, such as those for Californiaemployees. Review payroll records to ensure compliance with the Fair LaborStandards Act (FLSA) and other labor laws. Collaborate with HR, employees, and Project Managers to resolvepayroll discrepancies or issues. Manage wage garnishments, submitting payments to agencies andbenefit coordinators within required deadlines. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, taxingauthorities, and other stakeholders. Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees with pay,benefits, and tax withholding issues. Generate ad-hoc payroll reports and validate data accuracy forbusiness partners and stakeholders. Handle special projects and other assignments as directed bymanagement.

Requirements ADP Workforce Now Expertise:

Minimum of 3 years of directexperience with ADP, including time and attendance modules.

Benefits Administration:

At least 2 years of experience withbenefits contributions, including health, pension, and 401(k).

Payroll Compliance & Tax Knowledge:

Strong understanding ofmulti-state payroll taxes, garnishments, and statutorydeductions.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word,Excel, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new payroll orfinancial software. Attention to

Proven ability to ensure accurate data entry,reconciliation, and problem resolution.

Communication & Collaboration:

Excellent interpersonal skills toeffectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams andexternal vendors.

Confidentiality & Professionalism:

Ability to maintain discretionand handle sensitive payroll information with the highest level ofconfidentiality.
