Job Summary:
The Sr. Payroll Data Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing business operations to drive growth and efficiency for Compass Group within the Workforce Strategy Team. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong data analytics skills, ability to translate data into actionable insights, spot and highlight trends and opportunities, and create business requirements. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and support projects to successful completion.

Data Analytics & Visualization:
Analyze and visualize large datasets, delivering clear insights to inform business decisions.
Solutioning:
Provide data-driven solutions to complex business problems, aligning with strategic goals. Attention to

Ensure accuracy and integrity in all data analysis and reporting.
Business Requirements Creation:
Develop business requirements based on data findings to support project initiatives.
Financial Acumen:
Utilize business and financial knowledge to assist with financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Communication:
Effectively communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to achieve business objectives.
Technology Familiarity:
Stay updated on emerging technologies and their application in data analysis and visualization.
Self-Driven:
Proactively manage tasks and thrive in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision.
Steering Committee Note-Taking:
Document key takeaways and action items during Steering Committee meetings.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data analytics, data visualization, or a related field. Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL). Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. Ability to create business requirements and translate data into actionable insights. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships and collaborate effectively.
