Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for our multi-location workforce. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and strong support for employees and the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payrolls accurately and on time for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations Manage timekeeping systems and assist managers with timecard approvals Handle payroll adjustments including bonuses, garnishments, PTO, and corrections Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, time, taxes, and deductions Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up new hires in ADP Support the HR team with general administrative tasks, audits, and special projects Prepare reports for Finance, HR, and leadership as needed Participate in year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and audit support
Qualifications:
2+ years of payroll experience required Ideally, experience using ADP Workforce Now or a similar payroll platform Solid understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills High level of confidentiality and professionalism Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field Experience assisting with HR functions such as onboarding, terminations, and employee relations Why Wall Recycling?
