The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in payroll software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Duties Process payroll for all employees accurately Maintain employee records related to payroll, including deductions, benefits, and tax information. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Collaborate with the Human Resources department to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes as they relate to payroll. Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks as needed to support overall financial operations. Assist in the preparation of payroll reports for management review and compliance purposes. Address any payroll discrepancies or inquiries from employees promptly and professionally. Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance. Experience Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role in accounting or finance. 5+ years experience Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and technical accounting practices. Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
