Payroll Specialist Job Description Position Summary:

The PayrollSpecialist is responsible for processing payroll accurately and ontime, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance withfederal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws. This roleworks closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensureseamless payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly,bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll for all employees in accordancewith company policies and applicable laws Ensure accuratecalculation of wages, deductions, benefits, bonuses, and taxesMaintain and update payroll records including new hires,terminations, promotions, and changes in pay Prepare and submitpayroll tax filings and ensure compliance with all payroll-relatedregulations Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies ina timely manner Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams onbenefits, time tracking, and payroll funding Provide timely andaccurate payroll reports for internal and external audits Respondto employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and paydiscrepancies Maintain confidentiality of employee information andpayroll data at all times

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) 2years of payroll processing experience Knowledge of payrollsoftware (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycom, QuickBooks, or similar)Strong understanding of federal and state wage and hour lawsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and data analysis Strong communication andproblem-solving abilities Beacon Hill is an equal opportunityemployer and individuals with disabilities and/or protectedveterans are encouraged to apply.
