Princeton NJ (3 days inthe Princeton office, 2 days WFH)
Duration:
6 months contractResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop fullunderstanding of the inputs and outputs of payroll cycles Maintainpayroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing andentering data utilizing the UKG Pro payroll system in accordancewith policy and procedures 401k Reconciliation / Funding EquityVesting Relocation Processing Effectively manage entire GeneralLedger processing, reconciliation and SAP interface Reporting toFinance / Accounting Audit / SOX Compliance Monthly, Quarterly andAnnual Reporting Maintain payroll operations by following policiesand procedures and have knowledge of what data and calculations arerequired in assigned areas Ensure complete, accurate and timelyprocessing of information Collaborate with payroll colleagues aswell as other business areas, including Human Resources, Benefits,Compensation, Finance and Technology. Year End W-2 processingBalance sheet account reconciliation support Provide analysis andreporting as required and assigned by management Provide customerservice by responding to employee questions and requests
MustHave:
Large company payroll experience Large Payroll softwareexperience (Ultipro/UKG, ADP, etc – not quickbooks) Self StarterAnalytical thinker Strong overall payroll knowledge (gross to net,taxation) Excel skills (ie vlookup, sumif, pivot tables, etc) W-2preparation / validation Multi-state/local tax jurisdictionexperience General ledger background Skills /
Qualifications:
5years payroll experience UKG/Ultipro experience is a plus but notrequired Strong accounting knowledge; Reconciliations, JournalEntries Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws Stronganalytical skills; Solve unique, complex problems; Make basicdecisions, escalating items where applicable Communicate clearlyand effectively Strong knowledge of MS Office, including ExcelDetail orientated, organized, accountable for accuracy and meetingdeadlines Must be a team player to blend individual tasks /processes to achieve group objectives Experience with multi-stateand Canadian payroll compliance Experience with state and local taxregistration and reconciliation
