We are seeking a dynamic anddetail-oriented Permanent Automotive Payroll Administrator to joinour team in the manufacturing industry. This role is an excitingopportunity for an individual who is passionate about theautomotive industry and possesses a strong background in payrolladministration. You will be responsible for managing the payrollprocess for our multi-state operations, ensuring that ourhardworking employees are compensated accurately and promptly. Inaddition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to thedevelopment of compensation strategies and policies. Responsibilities:
1. Administer multi-state payroll operations,ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. 2.Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry,verification, and record-keeping. 3. Work closely with HumanResources to ensure accurate compensation and benefitsadministration. 4. Assist in the development and implementation ofcompensation strategies and policies. 5. Ensure compliance withfederal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and bestpractices. 6. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports ofpayroll transactions. 7. Handle payroll-related inquiries andresolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 8. Participatein payroll system upgrades and testing, ensuring that systems arefunctioning properly and efficiently. 9. Contribute to continuousimprovement initiatives to streamline payroll processes and enhancesystem efficiencies.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years ofexperience in payroll administration, preferably in the automotiveor manufacturing industry. 2. Proficient in multi-state payrolloperations and compensation. 3. Strong knowledge of federal, state,and local payroll, wage, and hour laws. 4. Excellent numericalskills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. 5.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handlepayroll-related inquiries and issues effectively. 6. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workwell in a team. 7. Proficient in using payroll software andsystems. 8. Strong organizational and time management skills, withthe ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 9.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field ispreferred.
