The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the construction industry and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, Ensure timely payment and collection Prepare and issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Payroll Processing:
, with emphasis on certified payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, including invoices, contracts, receipts, and payroll reports. Assist in monthly reconciliation of accounts and contribute to the month-end closing process.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the sales and operations teams, including data entry, filing, and document management. Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for management review.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to provide financial insights and support their operational needs. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, with certified payroll experience Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
