Job Description
Payroll Associate/ Temp to Perm Geller & Company is currently looking for a Payroll Associate to join our G Client Services team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Payroll Operations. The Payroll Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Your Impact:
Process payroll on a weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments. Maintain payroll and benefit records within ADP, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Respond promptly to payroll and benefit related inquiries, resolving issues efficiently. Collaborate with Human Capital, Cash Management, and external teams to research and resolve payroll and benefits concerns. Reconcile payroll tax filings, including 941s, SOD, and W-2s, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Prepare and organize audit documentation, reconciling records and supporting internal and external audits. Update process manuals to reflect new policies and system enhancements, ensuring operational effectiveness. Review and reconcile vendor invoices monthly. Perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed. What you’ll offer: 3-7 years of experience processing and reviewing multi-state payrolls for 200+ employees Expertise in payroll processing, including weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly cycles. Expertise in HRIS/Payroll software, such as ADP Workforce Now or equivalent. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll operations. Ability to establish and follow standard processes, delivering consistent, error-free results. Elevated level of discretion, managing confidential payroll data professionally. Intermediate Microsoft Office Excellent organizational and communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of Federal, State & Local tax laws is required. Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet payroll-processing deadlines.
