You’ll analyze payroll data,troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements as theorganization continues to grow. This position is ideal for adetail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving and workingwith financial systems.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Apply your knowledge ofpayroll calculations including earnings, FLSA rules, benefit andtax deductions, garnishments, etc. when reviewing payroll dataduring processing cycles Analyze employment data (terminations, newhires, job changes, location changes with tax implications, directdeposit changes, etc.) and their impact on compensation torecommend corrections or system improvements Assist with preparingand executing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll runs throughreport preparation, reconciliations, schedules, and Excel functionslike VLOOKUPs and pivot tables Escalate significant issues to theSenior Manager of Payroll Operations and participate in resolutionprocesses Maintain comprehensive understanding of the company’scompensation structure to ensure consistent payroll outputsIdentify and recommend efficiency improvements to support thecompany’s ongoing growth Handle escalated employee inquiries fromthe Payroll Specialist, ensuring team members receive servicealigned with company values Work collaboratively with other payrollteam members Demonstrate technological proficiency and responsivecommunication through email and chat platforms
WHAT YOU NEED
3-5years of payroll experience Experience withmulti-location/multi-state payroll processing and tax regulationsSelf-motivated approach with growth mindset and researchcapabilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detailwith ability to identify data inconsistencies Capacity to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Workday knowledgepreferred but not required (training will be provided) Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Effectivecommunication skills with customer service orientation Highstandards of discretion and integrity when handling confidentialINJUN2025
