Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage all payroll functions and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role will work closely with department managers, external consultants, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and code weekly employee timesheets to ensure accurate payroll and job costing Enter employee hours into payroll system for timely and accurate check distribution Maintaining payroll records and employee files Prepare and assist with Federal, State, and Local payroll tax returns incl W2, 941(weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) Manage employee deductions/additions and coordinate payment processing Generate payroll reports and registers Prepare certified payrolls, EEO, Profit Sharing, and other required reports Submit Local and Road Union reports to ensure timely and accurate payments Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements Work closely with the Accounting Manager to verify and reconcile all employee data, withholdings, deductions, additions, and ensure accurate tax rate inputs and updates Prepare ad hoc payroll-related reports as needed by management or external parties
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or higher Min 5 years of payroll and payroll tax experience with multi state and more than 100 employees. Familiarity with payroll software and strong attention to detail Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and follow directions Experience with union payroll processing Knowledge of payroll laws, prevailing wage regulations, and union requirements Very good knowledge of MS Office incl Word & Ecell Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external agencies Construction experiences is a plus Experience with Spectrum Traqspera is a plus Oliver Fire Protection offers a competitive compensation package including; Salary, Comprehensive Benefits Package including; Medical, Dental, Life, LTD, Profit-sharing program.

$60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
