ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ensure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met. Effectively prioritize work, follow up and perform multiple tasks efficiently in a constantly changing environment. Assist in processing biweekly and/or monthly payroll for employees, including data entry, timekeeping, and calculation of wages and deductions. Maintain accurate employee records, including changes in salary, benefits, tax withholding, and personal information. Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to hours worked. Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions. Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local withholding. Generate payroll reports as needed, including year-end reports such as W-2s. Address employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, taxes, and deductions promptly and professionally. Maintain organized and secure payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Stay current with federal and state payroll laws and regulations to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPEREIENCE

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Prior experience in payroll processing or a similar role is a plus Experience with UltiPro, Kronos and Floorganise a plus Spanish is helpful

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions. Hanwha Philly Shipyard is a
