$48.2K – $59K a year 21 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications ServSafe Employment & labor law Mid-level Payroll Communication skills Full Job Description Atwells Group Hospitality Management located in North Providence, RI is looking for an ambitious staff member to join our team as the Payroll Administrator. This role is a hands-on position that will assist with various administrative tasks throughout different company locations.

Responsibilities:

Complete the onboarding of staff members to include having all new hire documents completed and on file. Complete the separation of staff members to include having a resignation or termination notice on file. Keep electronic employee personnel files, Front and Back, up to date. Documents to include but not limited to onboarding paperwork, coaching and counseling documents, resignations, department of labor claims, requests of leave of absence, etc. Keep track of the Form I-9 and identification separated from the employee personnel files. As needed, for expired documents, request new identification from staff members. Keep employee certifications on file. As needed, prior to expiration, request new certifications from staff members. Certifications include but are not limited to ServSafe, Tips, etc. Verify hours, input tips, update paid time off, and process weekly payroll. Provide a weekly breakdown per location on payroll hours and wages utilized per position. Track and update employee status, i.e. Full Time, Part Time, etc. within the payroll system. Manage leave of absence requests, unemployment cases, workers compensation, etc. Track the eligibility, enrollment and waivers of medical, dental and vision benefits. Complete the annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting and obtain a 1094-C per company. Complete the annual OSHA reporting. Only the completed

OSHA 300A

form is to be hung in an employee only area from February 1st to April 30th. Monitor and update Social Security Numbers for staff members on visa programs at the Spring House Hotel. Ensure each location consistently has an up to date State and Federal Labor Law poster hung in an employee only area. Stay up to date on state and federal best employment practices and law updates. Monitor and keep track of the H2B three quarters guarantee. Follow up with the Spring House Hotel Administrative Assistant regarding any discrepancies and keep documentation on file for reference. As assigned, assist with H2B filing, travel subsistence/reimbursements, etc. As assigned, assist with filing accounting paperwork and documents. All other assigned duties.

Candidate Requirements:

Weekly schedule will generally be Monday through Friday. Hours worked will be located in North Providence, RI. Opportunities to travel to Block Island, RI may occur during peak onboarding time periods (May and June). Uphold the company’s policies and procedures. Previous payroll experience is preferred but not mandatory. Good communication skills to include in-person, phone and email communications. Critical thinker who can work independently and is eager to learn. Monday through Friday, anticipating 35 to 40 hours per week
